The Dutch e-waste compliance schemes Wecycle / NVMP and ICT~Milieu, organise their international congress on e-waste: The Future Flows – where do WEEE go from here on March 15, 2012.

Profound scientific insights will be presented about the quantities of EEE and WEEE, their complementary flows, their lifetimes, discarding, reuse behavior and imports & exports for reuse and recycling. This factual basis for the upcoming EU collection target definition, results in a model which can be used to predict future WEEE quantities in your country.

Attendance of the congress is by personal invitation only and free of charge.

The study is commissioned by the Dutch e-waste compliance schemes and conducted by the United Nations University (Institute for Sustainability and Peace) in collaboration with FFact, Statistics Netherlands, and Witteveen+Bos. In a unique cooperation, all actors in the Dutch recycling chain contributed: members of the European Electronics Recyclers Association, the Dutch Metal Recycling Federation, The Royal Dutch Solid Waste Association (NVRD), ICT~Milieu, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, the VROM-Inspectorate, individual refurbishers & producers and Wecycle.
